Follow these steps in order. Each one builds on the last. This is the same sequence I use on every Wicknorm Fenster installation.

1. 1

   Reveal and sill check

   Check reveal wall condition and sill junction before starting.

   North and east-facing windows: identify for anti-algae treatment.

   Triple-glazed windows: note for extra hinge lubrication attention.

2. 2

   Pre-treatment and sill clearance

   Anti-algae treatment on affected frames. Allow dwell. Rinse.

   Clear stone sill junction with soft brush.

3. 3

   Glass and frame cleaning

   Standard tilt-and-turn cleaning sequence.

   Edge wipe and final pull.

   pH-neutral solvent-free cleaner on frames. Clear drainage slots.

4. 4

   Hardware service

   Lubricate all mechanism points. Priority: hinge scissors on triple-glazed windows.

   Entrance door: all lock points.

   Operate full cycle on each window and door.

5. 5

   Final check

   Confirm smooth operation on all windows and doors.

   Check sill junctions are clear.

   Note any sealant gaps, reveal moisture, or persistent biological growth.
