VEKA uPVC profiles are engineered with UV stabilisers for European conditions - typically UV Index 3 to 6 in the markets VEKA was originally developed for. Mexico's UV Index regularly reaches 11 to 13. This means VEKA uPVC in Mexico is exposed to UV intensity significantly beyond the design envelope of the original European profile. UV stabiliser preservation is therefore even more critical here than in Europe. VEKA profiles are a known quality in European professional window cleaning - the same rules apply in Mexico. No solvents, no abrasives, pH-neutral cleaners only. The difference is that Mexico's UV intensity and hard water make the protocol more demanding, not less. VEKA's tilt-and-turn hardware, when specified on VECA Mexico windows, is the same European hardware system used across German and Austrian windows. The hardware cleaning and lubrication protocol is identical to European tilt-and-turn - refer to VEKA's European system guidance as the hardware reference.

• ✕Do not use solvent-based cleaners on VEKA uPVC profiles
• ✕Do not use abrasive pads on uPVC frames
• ✕Do not allow acid mineral removers to contact uPVC frames - mask before applying
• ✕Do not use citrus oil cleaners on uPVC - they attack plasticisers
• ✕Do not use petroleum-based lubricants on tilt-and-turn hardware near uPVC
• ✕Do not use mineral-rich tap water as final rinse on glass
