Why This System

Vantage is a premium product - the clients who own Vantage windows expect a premium cleaning result. Streaks on dark powder-coat finishes, residue on the thermal break junction, or missed edge cleaning are all visible at the standard this market expects. Klima uPVC windows require different cleaning chemistry from the aluminium Vantage range. Always identify the frame material before selecting your cleaning product. Vantage thermally broken aluminium has a visible polyamide break at the frame mid-section. This junction accumulates grime and requires cleaning with a narrow cloth.

Step 1 of 2: Manufacturer Recommendations

Official Care Guidance

Source: ORLOFFS PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE - BASED ON 25 YEARS FIELD EXPERIENCE ON NZ PREMIUM ALUMINIUM AND UPVC SYSTEMS

Glass

  • Pre-rinse all glass with clean water - standard NZ practice.
  • pH-neutral glass cleaning solution, squeegee top to bottom, wipe rubber after every pull.
  • Detail all frame-to-glass junctions with a clean dry cloth - visible on premium dark frames.

Aluminium Frames

  • pH-neutral dampened soft cloth, work top to bottom, rinse thoroughly. No abrasive pads.
  • On thermally broken frames, clean the polyamide break junction with a narrow cloth.
  • Dark and anodised frames: dry microfibre buff after wiping.

Klima uPVC Frames

  • pH-neutral, solvent-free cleaner only on Klima uPVC. No solvents, citrus oils, or alkaline products.
  • Soft cloth only - no abrasive pads on uPVC surfaces.
