Why This System

Powder coat is typically Qualicoat Class 2 - strong, but not invincible. Many installations use anodised finishes which require a different chemistry than powder coat. Facade systems have continuous gaskets that benefit from periodic inspection.

Official Care Guidance

No official guide published. The steps below are based on Justin Orloff's 25 years hands-on experience with this system.

What NOT To Do

  • Do not use any cleaner with a pH below 5 or above 8.
  • Do not use solvent thinners on the frame.

Field Notes

On commercial facades, schedule cleans to avoid direct sun on the wash side. Detergent flashes off too fast and streaks are guaranteed.
