This is how I clean Guardian RAK Glass windows. The tools and technique below come from 25 years of daily professional work on the glass. Every step has been tested on real installations and adapted specifically for Guardian RAK Glass systems.

My daily tool list. This is what I carry to every job.
Follow these steps in order. Each one builds on the last. This is the same sequence I use on every Guardian RAK Glass installation.

1. Flush glass and frames with water before detergent - UAE sand and salt require pre-rinsing.

2. Apply pH-neutral coating-safe detergent.

3. Squeegee top to bottom with fresh rubber.

4. Detail edges; rinse with pure water.
- 5
5. Clear weep holes in aluminium frames - sand blocks these rapidly in the UAE.
Pro Tips
- UAE coastal installations: salt deposits form on glass overnight from sea breeze. A morning pre-rinse is essential before starting squeegee work.
- RAK and northern Emirates: dusty winds from the Hajar Mountains carry fine sand. Budget dry dust-off with a soft brush before wetting glass.
- Hard water in UAE is severe - pure water systems are strongly recommended on all UAE commercial sites.
What NOT To Do
- Do not use blades on Guardian coated glass in the UAE.
- Do not clean in midday UAE heat.
- Do not use abrasive products on any Guardian glass product.
